Altenmarkt-Zauchensee as an central location of the “Sportsworld Amadé” offers you in summer and winter an enormous variety of activities, which are essential for a memorable holiday. In summer: well built out hiking paths, themed hiking paths especially for children, the thermal spring Amadé as in- and outdoor swimming pool, bathing lakes, close proximity to the Tauern golf course, riding stables, a large biking network and numerous mountain bike routes in every difficulty level, fishing, summer lifts and a lot more. The close proximity of the interconnected ski area Altenmarkt-Radstadt and of the wider ski area Zauchensee-Flauchauwinkel-Kleinarl in Salzburgs Sportswolrd Amadé (Austria’s largest skiing network) with altogether over 260 ski lifts, 760 kilometres of piste and 220 kilometres cross-country ski trails, as well as 3 sled runs offer everyone his personal winter eldorado!
